2” Angle Iron Frame
Unlike other window well covers, Anderson’s Premium Custom Covers are the only ones that use four inches of angle iron in the frame! Two inches that sit on top of your well and two inches that sit inside your well. This prevents the cover from sliding off and creates the most secure fit possible.
Holds Over 750 lbs!
We’ve conducted weight capacity tests on all three styles of our custom window well covers. The result? We ran out of weights before any of our covers gave out! That’s over 750 lbs of weight that each cover holds!
Powder or Guardian Thermo-plastic Coating
After each cover is done being handcrafted, we provide you the option of having your cover powder coated with a zinc undercoating for improved protection against rust or, our exclusive Guardian Thermo-plastic coating - the same type of coating used on commercial playground and other outdoor equipment. Both types of coating are extremely durable, easy to clean and maintain, protects against rust and corrosion, and looks great!

First, a trained technician will make a template of each of your window wells. Next, a window well cover will be hand-crafted to match your template. Finally, after the cover has been coated and cured, the technician will deliver and install your new custom cover.
